Wi-Fi enables automatically after disabling it

If the Wi-Fi enables automatically on your HUAWEI device after you disable it, this may be caused by the fact that the Wi-Fi+ function is activated or that a 3rd party app wants to connect to the Wi-Fi.

To solve this, check if the Wi-Fi+ function is enabled on your device.

Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, and touch and hold the Wi-Fi icon to enter the Wi-Fi settings screen. Go to More settings and check if the toggle next to Wi-Fi+ is switched on. If the Wi-Fi+ is enabled, the Wi-Fi will be disabled automatically when there is no wireless network within your device's range.

When a wireless network is detected, the Wi-Fi will be enabled automatically and your device will connect to it.

Also, please check if you have installed any 3rd party app which requires a Wi-Fi connection. Such apps may automatically enable the Wi-Fi on your device.

If the Find my device function is activated on your smartphone or tablet, it may automatically turn on the Wi-Fi.

When the battery level drops below 10%, your device will send its location to the cloud service and it will automatically enable the Wi-Fi for a better positioning.

Swipe down from the status bar and tap on the Wi-Fi icon to turn it off.

If you do not need this function, open the Settings, search for Find my device and switch off the toggle next to it.

After turning it off, your device will no longer send its location and it will stop activating the Wi-Fi automatically.
