Backing up photos and videos using PC Manager
 
  • The user interface may vary depending on the version of PC Manager.
  • This operation requires your phone to support the photo and video backup feature in PC Manager.
  • This operation requires you to connect your phone to your computer. To do this, go to My devices > My phone > Connect and follow the onscreen instructions to select a connection mode.

  1. Go to My devices > My phone.

  2. Click Back up photos. You will then be able to use your computer to view, manage, and back up photos in Gallery on your phone.

    Not all images can be identified and backed up on the computer. Images can be backed up to your computer only when the following two conditions are met:

    1. The images are stored in any of the following paths on your phone: /DCIM/Camera, Pictures, Download, Huawei Share, Tencent, and Bluetooth.

    2. The images are saved in any of the following file formats: jpeg, jpg, png, gif, x-ms-bmp, and bmp.

  3. Click Back up videos. You will then be able to use your computer to delete and back up videos on your phone.
