A silver-white reflection is visible from specific angles along the lower edge of the screen where there is a fine gap between the screen and the frame |
Problem
A silver-white reflection, likely from cracked, detached, or residue glue, is visible from specific angles along the lower edge of the screen where there is a fine gap between the monitor and the frame.
Cause
Conductive foam has been installed between the screen and the frame to prevent the screen from being damaged by static electricity. The conductive foam has a silver-white sheen, which is visible from specific angles, resembling the appearance of cracked, detached, or residue glue.
Since no glue has been applied between the monitor and the frame, the issue has nothing to do with cracked, detached, or residue glue.
Solution
- Huawei monitors have undergone a strict inspection process before delivery to ensure that they meet test standards and are of the premium quality. As explained above, it is normal to see a silver-white reflection from specific angles along the lower edge of the screen as a result of the conductive foam in the fine gap between the screen and the frame. Please do not be concerned.
- If the gap is too wide and the conductive foam overflows, causing the reflection to affect the usability of the monitor, feel free to contact Huawei after-sales personnel for assistance.
Thanks for your feedback.
