The speaker still plays sound even after a headset is inserted |
Problem 1:
After connecting a wired or Bluetooth headset, the ringtone comes from both the speaker and headset when setting the ringtone in Settings.
Cause:
For your convenience when adjusting the ringtone volume, both the speaker and your headset will play a sound. This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your phone.
Problem 2:
When a wired or Bluetooth headset is used, the ringtone for an incoming call or an alarm is played from both the headset and the speaker.
Cause:
To prevent the user from missing incoming calls or important events when the user has connected a headset but is not wearing it, the speaker always makes a sound to alert users of incoming calls or scheduled events.
Solution:
If you do not want the speaker to make a sound in any scenario, mute your phone or set it to Vibration mode.
