Problem:

The user connects their phone to a Bluetooth device, and then connects it to their HUAWEI FreeBuds 3. Before wearing the earphones, however, their battery level is not displayed together with the Bluetooth icon. After wearing them, the battery level is displayed.

Cause:

The HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 support wearing detection, which works as follows: If your FreeBuds 3 are connected to a phone which has already been connected to another Bluetooth device, the battery information will not be displayed on your phone until you put the FreeBuds 3 on. If your FreeBuds 3 are connected to a phone which has not been connected to another Bluetooth device, the battery information will be displayed on your phone as soon as the connection is established.
