Using the FamCare app to clear cloud data |
Cloud data is what the user uploads or backs up from their local device to HUAWEI Cloud. You can view and manage the synced data by visiting the official HUAWEI Cloud website (cloud.huawei.com). Then you can also view backup data and restore the backup content on your Huawei devices.
To clear cloud data, open the FamCare app, touch in the upper left corner, and go to .
After cloud data is cleared using the FamCare app, all the information saved on the kids watch will be deleted, including contacts (with the exception of admins), workout data and routes, Class Time, Schedule on/off, safe zones, Wi-Fi, alarms, and exercise goals. Some features will be restored to their default settings, including Bluetooth, blocking strangers, Schedule on/off, and updates (such as automatic updates and mobile data updates). This operation cannot be undone. After cloud data is cleared, you will need to manually add contacts and restore the previous settings. Please exercise caution when performing this operation.
- Notifications in the FamCare app will not be cleared.
- When an admin touches Locate on the home screen in the FamCare app, the location of the kids watch will be refreshed and will not be cleared.
- After data is cleared, the main admin and normal admins will still be the same and their nicknames, phone numbers, quick numbers, and rights will remain the same.
- Only the main admin of the kids watch is allowed to clear cloud data.
