Problem:

There are scratches, smudges, or contrast-colour spots on the screen protector of a newly purchased HUAWEI phone.

Cause:

• The phone screen is attached with two films. The upper film is a process protective film (with a tearing tip), and the lower film is an HD protective film (screen protector). (Note: Some products only come with a screen protector with a tearing tip, which needs to be attached or removed by the user.)
• The upper protective film is added to the screen protector to prevent slight scratches, smudges, or contrast-colour spots during production, packaging, and transport.

Solution:

• It is recommended that you remove the process protective film before using the device.
• If there are scratches, smudges, or contrast-colour spots on the screen protector, go to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
