Problem:

When the Vision is connected to a peripheral device to play videos, narrow white or colour edges appear on both sides of the screen.

Cause:

This issue occurs due to the low-resolution signal source. The resolution of the external devices (such as the OTT STB, IPTV STB, and live TV STB) does not match the resolution of the input signal source. When the resolution of the external device is higher than that of the input signal source, this issue may occur.

Solution:

Change the resolution of the external device to a level that matches the input signal, for example, from 1080p to 720p. For details about how to change the resolution, see the device product manual or contact the device provider.
