HarmonyOS is a next generation operating system designed for smart devices in an era where everything is connected. It essentially allows devices to communicate using a common language and gives consumers effortless, smooth, stable, secure, reliable and innovative interaction in all scenarios. HMS is for Huawei Mobile Services. It includes apps for consumers, such as AppGallery, HUAWEI Browser, HUAWEI Mobile Cloud, as well as HMS Core, which is a group of hardware and software capabilities for developers. Both the Account Kit and IAP Kit are part of HMS Core. HMS ecosystem is an ecosystem of apps and services, which must run on an operating system, so they run on HarmonyOS.
