Enroling and removing a fingerprint on a HUAWEI computer

You can use your fingerprint to unlock your computer quickly and securely after your fingerprint has been enrolled.

This operation only applies to laptops or desktop computers that support Fingerprint recognition.
If your computer comes with HUAWEI Wireless Keyboard (Fingerprint Edition), pair the keyboard with your computer before setting your fingerprint.

Enrol fingerprints

Click on the taskbar at the bottom and go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
Click here to go to Sign-in options.
Go to Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello) > Set up (or Add a finger), enter the PIN, and follow the onscreen instructions to enrol your fingerprint.
- The fingerprint sensor area may vary depending on the model. For laptops and 2-in-1 tablets, the sensor is located on the Power button. For desktop computers and all-in-one computers, the sensor is located on the Fingerprint button on the keyboard.
- If an exception occurs when you enrol your fingerprint, refer to Fingerprint login does not work/Unable to enrol my fingerprint/No option for setting up fingerprint login.
- Set your account login password first. Otherwise, you cannot set a PIN or fingerprint.
- A maximum of 10 fingerprints can be enrolled for each account.

Click on the taskbar at the bottom and go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
Go to Fingerprint identification (Windows Hello) > Delete. The computer will delete all fingerprints.

Once you click Remove, all enrolled fingerprints will be deleted.
