How to connect a speaker to the HUAWEIVision

You can connect a speaker to your HUAWEI Vision in any of the following ways:

• Bluetooth speakers can connect to the HUAWEI Vision via Bluetooth.

  For details, refer to How to pair the HUAWEI Vision with Bluetooth earphones or speakers.

• The HUAWEI Vision uses the SPDIF and HDMI (ARC) interfaces to connect to multimedia devices such as speakers and power amplifiers. Steps:

  1. Connect one end of the cable to the HDMI OUT (ARC) port of the speaker or power amplifier, and the other end to the S/PDIF or HDMI2 (ARC) port of the HUAWEI Vision.

  

  2. On the HUAWEI Vision's Home screen, go to Settings > Sound > Output and select S/PDIF or HDMI (ARC) using the remote control.

  3. On the Sound screen, click Digital output and select a mode.

  

  The following digital output modes are available:

  • Auto: The system automatically selects an appropriate output device.
  • RAW: The audio decoded at the power amplifier end is output directly.
  • PCM: The power amplifier does not support direct audio decoding. Audio needs to be decoded on the Vision and then transmitted to the power amplifier for output.
