HUAWEI Mobile WiFi change the password for logging in to the web-based management page

Generally, the address and default password of the web-based management page is on the nameplate at the bottom of the Huawei Mobile WiFi. However, the address and password may vary for the carrier custom versions. Use the actual information printed on the nameplate or consult the carrier.

This password is the login password for the Mobile WiFi management page, not the connection password for WLAN. If you need to change the WLAN password, please refer to: Changing the WLAN Password

  1. Connect your phone to the Mobile WiFi.
  2. Enter 192.168.8.1 in the address bar of a browser, and enter the login password of the web-based management page to log in.
  3. Go to Advanced > System > Modify Password, enter the Current password, New password, and Confirm password, and click Save.
