Charging issues on the Mobile WiFi |
There are two scenarios of charging failure on the Mobile WiFi.
Scenario 1
If you cannot charge the Mobile WiFi, troubleshoot as follows:
- Make sure you are using the charger that comes with Mobile WiFi, and the charger is functioning normally. Non-standard chargers may cause charging failures.
- Make sure the cable is properly connected.
- When the Mobile WiFi is overheated, charging will automatically stop to protect the device. Wait for charging to automatically resume after the device cools down.
- If the Mobile WiFi has not been used for a long time, the battery voltage may be too low. Please charge it until the charging indicator displays a charging state.
Scenario 2
If you cannot use the Mobile WiFi to charge other devices (applicable to those with the reverse charging function), perform the following operations:
1. Check whether the battery level of the current Mobile WiFi is sufficient. If the battery level of the Mobile WiFi is low, charge it with a standard charger, and then use it to charge other devices.
2. Replace the USB cable with a standard one or try reverse charging when the Mobile WiFi is powered on. If the Mobile WiFi can charge external devices only when it is powered on, the issue may lie within the USB cable. In this case, try charging the external devices after powering on the Mobile WiFi, or try using another USB cable.
3. The Mobile WiFi features the temperature protection function. When the temperature is higher than the normal operating temperature, the reverse charging function is disabled to protect the device. After the temperature of the Mobile WiFi decreases, the charging function is automatically enabled again.
4. The Mobile WiFi also provides low-voltage protection. When the battery voltage is too low (lower than 10%), the reverse charging function is disabled. In this case, charge your Mobile WiFi with its charger. The reverse charging function will resume after the battery over reaches 50%. You can also disconnect the Mobile WiFi from the charger when its battery level is between 10% and 50%, and the reverse charging function will also restore.
