Serial number (SN) is the ID of a product, also known as the machine number, authentication code, and registration code. Each device has only one SN.
Query the SN via Settings
Go to Settings, enter "serial number" in the search box, and Serial number displayed on the About phone/About tablet screen indicates the SN of the phone/tablet.
Query the SN via My HUAWEI/Support app
Open the My HUAWEI, tap Support, and tap the device card to query the SN. (Or if the Support app is available on your device, open the app and tap Support in the lower right corner, and tap your device.)
Your HUAWEI phone/tablet comes preinstalled with the My HUAWEI/Support app. If this app has been uninstalled or you cannot find the app on your phone/tablet, download it from AppGallery.
Query the SN by dialing a number
- Phones or tablets with communications capabilities:
Open the dialer screen, and enter "*#06#". The SN of the device will be displayed.
- Wi-Fi tablets:
Open the Calculator app in landscape mode, and enter "()()2846579()()". Then go to Veneer Information > Other Info to view the SN.
Find the SN on the package
If you have the product package available, you can find the SN shown next to the bar code on the package.
If the issue persists
If your phone/tablet cannot be powered on to query the SN, you can visit a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
