HUAWEI Extended Warranty is valid for 1 or 2 years from the date of purchase depending on the device model. Please read the related terms for the specific device model. The service expires at 12:00 AM on the expiration date. For example, if you purchase HUAWEI Extended Warranty on January 10, 2024, the expiration date for the service will be 12:00 AM on January 9, 2025. You can check the service status through: My HUAWEI App > Support > Quick Services > Benefits Official Website at [Warranty Query].
Q2: I want to buy an Extended Warranty, how do I buy it?

You can purchase the Extended Warranty at the same time when you purchase a device on HUAWEI Offline Store or repurchase at HUAWEI Authorized Service Center, depending on the availability of the Extended Warranty for the model.
Q3: Can I purchase the Extended Warranty if my device is already out of warranty?

No, you cannot buy the Extended Warranty if the standard warranty of your device has already expired.
Q4: The Extended Warranty I purchased before is about to expire. Can I buy it again?

No, the same device can only purchase the Extended Warranty once.
Q5: My device within the extended warranty period is broken due to the dropping of device. Is this covered under the Extended Warranty?

No, your device cannot enjoy the Extended Warranty. The extended warranty is limited to only non-human damage during normal use of the device.
Q6: Does the Extended Warranty cover accessories such as earplugs and chargers?

No, the Extended Warranty does not cover accessories such as power adapters, batteries, headphones, data cables, free gifts, etc.

Terms and Conditions

1. HUAWEI Care (“Campaign”) is provided by HUAWEI Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“HUAWEI”).
2. This Campaign will run from 1st Jan 2026 to 31st Dec 2026 (“Campaign Period”). HUAWEI shall reserve the right to shorten or extend the Campaign Period at its sole discretion without prior notice.
3. Customer who purchase an eligible device (product model) from a participating HUAWEI Experience Store (“HES”) or HUAWEI Store Online ( https://consumer.huawei.com/my/offer/ ) within the Campaign Period is eligible to purchase, from HUAWEI Experience store or HUAWEI Authorized Service Center the available Service Related Products for its HUAWEI device. The service related product(s) available includes Extended Warranty Service Product (“Service Related Product(s)”) for selected HUAWEI device list.

5. If Customer fails to purchase the available Service Related Product(s) within the same transaction of the purchase of HUAWEI device, he is still eligible to purchase the Service Related Product(s) at the participating HES or nearest Authorized Service Center (ASC) within the time period as follows:-
For Extended Warranty Service Product, within ten (10) months from the date of purchase of HUAWEI device at HES & ASC.

6. Customer must however produce the original proof of purchase of the eligible HUAWEI device(s) for verification purposes. HES will then verify the original proof of purchase and determine whether the HUAWEI device is eligible to purchase the Service Related Product(s).
7. Specific terms regarding Extended Warranty Service Product: -
i) HUAWEI will provide an additional 12 or 24 months extended warranty after the expiry of the standard warranty period of device, based on the period purchased.
ii) The terms for warranty services during the extended warranty will be same as the terms of HUAWEI’s standard warranty service terms stated at https://consumer.huawei.com/my/support/warranty-policy/.
iii) Customer is advised to check HUAWEI official website relating to the warranty statement from time to time and stay informed for any changes on the terms and conditions of the warranty.
iv) The standard terms regarding Extended Warranty Service Product available at https://consumer.huawei.com/my/support/content/en-gb15837336/
8. Extended Warranty Service Product:
a) If Customer successfully returned the device for a refund, the Extended Warranty Service Product purchase fee will be refunded to the Customer and terminated.
b) If Customer successfully replaced the device, the replacement device will inherit remaining period of the extended warranty purchased.
9. Customer agrees and provides consent to HUAWEI to the use of any personal data as provided by the Customer for the purposes of purchasing and providing the Service Related Product purchased in line with the applicable personal data protection laws and regulations, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by HUAWEI for lawful purpose directly related to the running of this Campaign and the purposes of providing the Services Related Product purchased, including but not limited to the purposes of promotional events, advertising, marketing and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and organizing of this Campaign.
10. By purchasing HUAWEI Care (“Service”) or requesting for the services pursuant to the Service, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, storage and such other processing of the personal data provided, including contact details, device details, you service information by HUAWEI for the purposes relating to the Service pursuant to the applicable personal data protection laws in Malaysia, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. HUAWEI will use and process the personal data provided for purposes related to Service, including but not limited to the provision of the Service and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and organizing of this Service. The personal data provided will be disclosed to and processed by the operators of the HUAWEI Authorised Service Center for purposes of relating to the Service. The personal data provided may further be disclosed and/or transferred to HUAWEI's principal head of office in China and to any of its offshore affiliates or group of companies for the purpose of facilitating and supporting HUAWEI based on the similar purposes stated above. Whenever HUAWEI discloses and/or transfers your personal data to 3rd party or outside Malaysia, HUAWEI will ensure that appropriate security measures are taken. HUAWEI will retain the personal data provided for this Service for no longer than is necessary for the purposes of the Service, unless extending the retention period is required or permitted by law. If you object to the processing of personal data for the purposes stated herein, you will not be able to purchase or use the Service. 11. By purchasing the HUAWEI Care, Customer agree to be bound by this Terms and Conditions and HUAWEI’s decisions are final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained. HUAWEI reserves the right to the final and ultimate interpretation of this HUAWEI Care. HUAWEI reserves the rights to add, amend or vary the terms and conditions of the Campaign at any time without further notice.
12. To the fullest extent permissible by laws, Customer agrees to discharge and release HUAWEI and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to this Campaign.
13. This Campaign and the Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
