How to connect HUAWEI earphones in the AI Life app

For HUAWEI and other Android devices:
Connect your HUAWEI FreeBuds/FreeLace series earphones by referring to Pairing HUAWEI Bluetooth earphones. Once the pairing is successful, your earphones will be automatically added to the AI Life app.
For iOS devices:
Some HUAWEI earphones can be added or connected using the AI Life app on your phone/tablet running iOS. If you cannot add the earphones in the AI Life app, troubleshoot the issue by referring to The AI Life app fails to find the earphones.
Models that can be added to the iOS version of AI Life app: FreeLace Pro 2/FreeClip/FreeBuds Pro 3/FreeBuds SE 2/FreeBuds Pro 2 +/FreeBuds 5/FreeBuds Pro 2/FreeBuds 5i/FreeBuds Lipstick/FreeBuds 4E/FreeBuds 4/FreeBuds 4i/FreeBuds Studio/FreeBuds Pro/FreeLace Lite/FreeBuds SE (Other earphone models can be paired and connected as normal.)
- Power on the earphones, open the lid of the charging case, or set the earphones to enter Pairing mode. For details, see How to pair the earphones.
- On your phone/tablet, go to , and touch the name of the earphones to initiate a connection.
- Place the earphones close to your phone. Open the AI Life app, touch the plus icon (+) in the upper right corner of the home screen, and touch Add device. Then, start scanning.
- After the AI Life app automatically detects the earphones, touch CONNECT. A message displays indicating that the earphones are now connected. After the earphones are added to the AI Life app, you can configure their functions and update their firmware.
You can also open the AI Life app, touch the plus icon (+) in the upper right corner of the home screen, touch Add device, and select ADD MANUALLY or SCAN CODE.
- ADD MANUALLY: On the Entertainment tab, select the corresponding earphones and follow the onscreen instructions to connect them to your device.
- SCAN CODE: Scan the QR code on the device or package and follow the onscreen instructions to add the earphones.
