Case 1: Forget the login password of a general edition router

Restore the router to its factory settings, and follow the manual to reconfigure it.

Please note that all previous settings will be lost after the reset. You will need to reconfigure your router, in order to connect to the Internet.

Case 2: Forget the login password of a carrier-customized router

Carrier-customized routers are customized based on the carrier's networking requirements. The default factory login password can differ. For example, if a router that supports China Telecom's e-Link protocol is used, the login password on the web-based management page is the Wi-Fi name on the nameplate at the bottom of the router by default.
