    You can purchase HUAWEI Care+ with new selected HUAWEI devices, either from the HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers, HUAWEI Experience Stores & Online stores. Ask the promotor after the purchase about the protection services HUAWEI Care+ and he/she will help you to raise a request, purchase it and link it to your device from the online store. Upon redemption of the HUAWEI Care+ you will pay a service fee of R499 including Vat for labour charges and a service fee for the HUAWEI Mate X3 is R999 including Vat.

1. Introduction
1.1 HUAWEI Care + (“Promotion”) is organized and managed by Huawei Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Huawei”), including affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the “Organizers”).
1.2 This Promotion is comprised of 3(three) services:
     • Accidental Damage Protection;
     • Battery Replacement;
     • Free Lifetime Software Support.
1.3 The Promotion is open for entry by all South African residents of 18 years and older with a valid South African identity document or Smart Card.
1.4 By entering the Promotion, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organizers and the Organizers decision regarding any issue will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered.
1.5 This Promotion commences in March 2024 and is ongoing, (the “Promotion Period”).
1.6 The Promotion deals exclusively with purchases made of new selected HUAWEI devices at HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers, HUAWEI Experience Stores & Online stores within the Republic of South Africa.
1.7 Only Promotion devices as per https://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/huawei-care-plus/ will qualify for this Promotion.

1.10 This Promotion enables Participants to claim for 1 (one) replacement (parts / repair) during the first year from date of purchase of a new selected HUAWEI device and 1 (one) replacement (parts / repair) in the second year from the date of purchase of a new selected HUAWEI device.
1.11 The Promotion does not cover any wearable straps.
1.12 In the case of loss of a single Freebud or charging case the Participant will qualify for a 50% discount on the replacement cost.
1.13 Upon redeeming the Promotion at an ASC-E – Accredited Service Centre, Participants will pay a service fee of R499 (four hundred ninety-nine rand) including Vat, for labour charges and a service fee for the HUAWEI Mate X3 is R999 (nine hundred ninety-nine rand) including Vat.
1.14 The Promotion will not affect the standard warranty of the purchase of the new selected HUAWEI device.

2. Promotion Details
2.1 Accidental Damage Protection
2.1.1 2-(two)year HUAWEI Care+;
2.1.2 Accidental Damage Protection provides extra protection for replacement of the original HUAWEI components, spare parts damage caused by accidental drops, impacts, water and/or liquid drops or liquid penetration;
2.1.3 Theft and loss are excluded;
2.1.4 2 (two)years Accidental Damage Protection Promotion enables Participants to claim for 1 (one) replacement (parts / repair) during the first year from the date of purchase of a new selected HUAWEI device and 1 (one) replacement (parts / repair) during the second year from date of purchase of a new selected HUAWEI device; and
2.1.5 For Wearables, straps are excluded.
2.2 Battery Replacement
2.2.1 2-year HUAWEI Care+;
2.2.2 Battery health must be below 85%;
2.2.3 Any battery replacement can only be claimed during the second year of this Promotion.
2.3 Lifetime software support
2.3.1 Covers all software related issues such as App downloads, software bugs and updates and is only applicable to new selected HUAWEI devices.
3. General Terms and Conditions
3.1 The Promotion commences in March 2024 and is ongoing.
3.2 The Promotion Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of the Organisers.
3.3 The Promotion, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organisers. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organisers. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organisers as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions.
3.4 The Organisers reserve the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Promotion for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion, on condition that the Organisers notify the Promotion Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.

In such event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organisers whatsoever.
3.7 In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, the Organiser's decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
