Statement About Huawei Community and Privacy

Huawei Community is a service provided by Huawei Device Co., Ltd., a Huawei company incorporated in B2-5, Nan fang Factory, No. 2, Xin Cheng Road, Song Shan Lake Science and Technology Industrial Zone, Dongguan (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "Huawei") to provide you with the community forum.

1.What data do we collect about you?

As part of the Huawei Community we will collect and use your personal data only for the purposes stated in this notice. Personal data means any information that enables Huawei to identify you as a user.

We collect and process the following data:

- HUAWEI ID information such as ID, avatar and nickname, which will be displayed in your posts, messages, comments, likes and etc. Other personal information such as name, gender and etc. are collected in HUAWEI ID and not used in Huawei Community. We use HUAWEI ID as the account to login Huawei Community. The data controller of HUAWEI ID is Aspiegel Limited, a Huawei affiliate based in Ireland. Personal forum information such as posts, comments, votes, messages and likes.

The legal basis for our processing your data is contract fulfillment.

2.How do we use your data?

Huawei uses your personal data in order to provide you the service you have ordered and to fulfill the contractual obligations. This requires us also to process the data for customer support, trouble shooting and forum environment maintenance.

In Huawei Community, we've got the following personal information about Facebook, Twitter, and Google: your avatar and nickname. The above information is used for quick login to the Huawei Community using Facebook, Twitter and Google Accounts.

Huawei Community uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. to analyze user data. The headquarters of Google Inc. is located at 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By processing your Huawei Community visiting information (cookies), Google Analytics can determine whether it is a new or returning user, and stores the data on Google servers in the United States.To learn more about how Google Analytics handles your personal information, visit the Google Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

You can prevent Google Analytics from processing your visit information by editing your browser settings. However, this may disable certain features on the website. If you activate the IP address encryption on a website, Google will shorten the IP address in the Member States of the European Union or other States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Your IP address will only be sent in exceptional cases and will be shortened by Google on servers in the US. Google uses this information on behalf of Huawei Community to evaluate the use of the website, to report on the operation of the website, and to provide other website activities and services related to the use of the Internet to the website provider. Google will not associate your browser's IP address with any other Google-owned information when you use Google Analytics.

3.How long do we store your data?

We retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes defined in this notice. After the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

You can view the published information and delete them in the User Center. You can access the User Center by tapping the profile picture icon.

In the Huawei Community service, your personal data will be retained until your HUAWEI ID is deregistration or you require to delete the data. When you delete your HUAWEI ID account, the corresponding personal information will be deleted, including your ID, nickname, avatar, posts, comments, votes, messages, likes and etc. If you do not want to use the Huawei Community, you can deregister your account in the User Center.

4.Do we share your data?

We store your data in the databases located in Singapore. We share your data in the following ways:

- Your personal data is shared with Singapore Amazon Web Services, Inc., operating under contract and processing your personal data on behalf of Huawei.

- Your personal data is shared with our suppliers such as service support marketing agencies, IT solution providers, service support providers operating under contract and processing your personal data on behalf of Huawei.

- Your Huawei Community visiting information (cookies) will be provided to Google Inc. The detail information in Section 2.

- Disclosures related to legal requirements and business transactions. Huawei may share your data in response to a legal process or request from a competent authority based on an applicable law or in connection with legal proceeding or process. Your data may also be disclosed as part of merger, acquisition, sale of assets (such as service agreements) or transition of service to a Huawei group or other company.

Access data

You can use basic information, such as avatar and nickname, in the account center of HUAWEI ID. You can also go to User Center, and you can check your points, posts, comments, votes, private messages and system information.

Port data

Erase data

You can delete the posts and comments which are made by yourself in the User Center. If you encounter any problem, you can contact the administrator or moderator.

Rectify data

Enter the account center of HUAWEI ID from the User Center in Huawei Community, to access the personal information interface, and then set your HUAWEI ID information.

Manage your consents

Log in to the User Center in Huawei Community on your computer, click disagree, and click OK to withdraw your consent. If you want to delete the information what you have post or made, you can delete them in your User Center.
