I forget the startup password of my HUAWEI computer
I forget the startup password of my HUAWEI computer |
- Familiarize yourself with the unlock icons: There are five unlock methods in Windows.
Problem
The user forgets the startup password of a HUAWEI computer and cannot access the system.
Solution
Solution 1:
1. It is recommended that you confirm whether you or someone else has changed the password. If necessary, check with close friends and family to see if they might have set the password while you were away from your computer. Enter the password after you recall it.
If it's a hybrid password, be cautious about capitalization and symbols like underscores to avoid input errors preventing system access. Try your common passwords (such as those consisting of special dates or numbers).
Solution 2:
Try to unlock the computer via PIN, facial recognition, or fingerprint. If you can access the computer system, perform the following operations to reset the password:
1. Press Win + R to open the Run window, enter "cmd", and click OK.
2. Enter "net user" to query all local account names.
3. Enter "net user + local account name + new password".
For example, if your local account name is L3 and the new password is 321, you'll need to enter "net user L3 321" (with a space in the middle). After you press Enter, if the Command successful completion message displays onscreen, the modification is successful.
If the modification fails and the system displays a message indicating that the account name cannot be found, you can enter the local account name and try again. To view the local account name, enter "netplwiz" in the taskbar search box on the desktop to find the user name corresponding to the current account. If the issue persists, change the local account name by referring to Change the computer name and account name of a HUAWEI computer, and try again.
Solution 3:
If you cannot unlock the computer via PIN, facial recognition, or fingerprint, and repeated password attempts fail, reset the password by clicking Reset password and answering the security questions as instructed on the screen.
If the issue persists
If the issue persists, back up your data, record your Office account, and use F10 to restore your computer to its factory settings.
