Unable to enable or disable Bluetooth on a phone

Problem:

The user cannot enable or disable Bluetooth on the phone.

Cause:

1. The phone does not identify the touch action used to turn Bluetooth on or off.

2. Enabling or disabling Bluetooth last time didn't take effect.

Solution:

1. Enable then disable Airplane mode and enable or disable Bluetooth again.
2. Restart the phone then enable or disable Bluetooth again.

If the issue persists:

1. It is recommended that you search for and access Reset network settings in Settings, restore the network settings, then enable or disable Bluetooth again.
2. If the issue persists, back up your data, restore your phone to its factory settings, and enable or disable Bluetooth again.
   

   1. Resetting network settings will clear Wi-Fi data, mobile data, and Bluetooth data.

   2. Restoring a phone to its factory settings will clear all data.

If the issue persists, back up your data and then take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
