Instructions of restoring factory settings
- When one earbud is in the case or the firmware versions of the two earbuds are inconsistent, resetting to factory settings is not supported.
- The earbud protective case may cause your grip to loosen when you press and hold the button. It is recommended that you remove the protective case and try again.
- If you are using the earbuds to make a call, play audio, or watch a video, pause the service or disconnect from Bluetooth before restoring the earbuds to their factory settings.
Restoring the earbuds to their factory settings will: (1) Clear the existing pairing information. (2) Restore all the earbuds' settings. (3) Suspend the update of the earbuds' location information in Find Device. You can clear the connection information by referring to here and reconnect the earbuds.
Restoring factory settings
1. FreeBuds series/FreeClip series/FreeArc (with a Function button)
Place the earbuds in the charging case and keep the case open. Press and hold the Function button for at least 10 seconds until the status indicator flashes red, which indicates that the earbuds have been restored to their factory settings. Then, pair the earbuds once again.

2. FreeBuds SE 2 (without a Function button)
Place the earbuds in the charging case and keep the case open. Touch and hold the touch control area on the left and right handles for at least 10 seconds until the status indicator flashes red, which indicates that the earbuds have been restored to their factory settings. Then, pair the earbuds once again.

3. FreeLace series
Press and hold the Function/Power button for at least 10 seconds until the status indicator flashes red and then white, which indicates that the earbuds have been restored to their factory settings. Then, pair the earbuds once again.
- The button is not supported for pairing while the earbuds are plugged into the USB port.
- For FreeLace Lite/xSport Pro earbuds that do not have a Power button, press and hold the Function button for at least 10 seconds.
- For FreeLace Pro 2 earbuds, flip the Power switch to expose the green dot to power on the earbuds, and press and hold the Function button for at least 10 seconds until the status indicator flashes red and then white, which indicates that the earbuds have been restored to their factory settings. Then, pair the earbuds once again.
4. FreeBuds Studio
When the headphones are powered on, press and hold the Bluetooth button for at least 10 seconds until the indicator flashes red and then white, which indicates that the headphones have been restored to their factory settings. Then, pair the headphones once again.

6. HUAWEI Exercise Heart Rate Bluetooth earbuds/HUAWEI Sport Bluetooth earbuds
Press and hold both the Power button and the Volume down button for at least 4 seconds to restore the earbuds to their factory settings.

7. HONOR FlyPods series/FlyPods Pro/FlyPods 3/FreeBuds Lite
Place the earbuds in the charging case and keep the case open. Press and hold the Function button for at least 10 seconds until the status indicator flashes, which indicates that the earbuds have been restored to their factory settings. Then, pair the earbuds once again.

The Function button is located on the back of the charging case.
Other FAQs
Why does the indicator flash white after I press and hold the button?
If the indicator flashes white, the earbuds enter the pairing mode. If the indicator flashes red, the earbuds enter the factory settings restoration mode. Do not release your hand when the indicator flasher white. Continue to press and hold the button for 5 to 10 seconds until the indicator flashes red.
How do I pair the earbuds after I changed a single earbud?
Place both earbuds in the charging case and keep the case open. Press and hold the Function button for 10–15 seconds to restore the earbuds to their factory settings. Then pair the earbuds with the phone again.
