This speaker can only play music through Bluetooth supported devices and AUX cable connection is not possible. If the Speaker is not connecting to your phone this will therefore be a Bluetooth issue. The HUAWEI Sound Joy support Bluetooth 5.2 which brings better quality audio quality to Bluetooth Audio devices. This is the newest Bluetooth integrated into devices as of August 2022 and is only backward compatible with Bluetooth 4.0, Bluetooth 4.1 and Bluetooth 4.2, but to get the speed and range improvements you will need to have a Bluetooth 5 device connecting to another Bluetooth 5 device. Please check that your device supports Bluetooth 4.0: with this version of Bluetooth you might need to try connecting your device and the speaker at a shorter distance or try turning the Bluetooth on and off on the speaker and the device to restart the connection again. If you have tried this and connection is still not successful please go to the end of this FAQ where you will find the contact details for the HUAWEI Support service who will be able to answer your question over email of phone call to guide you to the quickest solution.

Yes, you can plug a USB cable into the HUAWEI Sound Joy but this is only for charging and is a USB-A to USB-C Charging cable. Connection for music playback is only via Bluetooth.
