Photos taken with my phone do not have geographical location information
  1. Ensure that your phone settings are correct:
    • Open Gallery, go to Settings, and enable Access to Internet and location info and Show location (not available on all phone models).
    • Open Camera, touch or in the upper right corner, then enable GPS tag.
  2. Ensure that your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile data network when taking photos or viewing photos in Gallery. A poor reception may result in your phone being unable to obtain your location information.
  3. If Searching for GPS is prompted when taking a photo, please wait until your phone has finished searching.
  4. Some models do not support the city name being displayed on photos. In this situation, go to the photo details to check its geographical information.
  5. If the issue persists, please refer to My phone cannot locate its position or positioning is inaccurate.
