HUAWEI Phone Manager fails to block MMS messages

Problem:

After Block spam messages is enabled or Keyword blocklist is set in Phone Manager, MMS messages cannot be blocked.

Cause:

Phone Manager does not support blocking MMS messages using the Block spam messages or Keyword blocklist feature.

Solution:

If you want to block MMS messages, add the corresponding number to Blocklist or enable Block unknown numbers.

Go to Phone Manager > Blocked, tap in the upper right corner, select Blocklist, and tap Add to add the number you want to block.

You can also go to Phone Manager > Blocked > Message block rules > Block unknown numbers.

Adding the number to Blocklist will block incoming calls, SMS messages, and MMS messages from this number.

If Block unknown numbers is enabled, SMS and MMS messages from unknown numbers will be blocked.
