The other party's voice sounds distorted during calls
The other party's voice sounds distorted during calls |
During calls, voices and other sounds (such as music played by the other party) are compressed, causing them to be slightly distorted. Also, due to the specific acoustic characteristics of the receiver and the speaker, this distortion is more evident when using the speaker in hands-free mode than when using the receiver of the device. Music played on your phone does not need to be compressed, so it will not sound distorted.
To solve this, please use the receiver when making or answering calls. If you have to use the hands-free mode, try reducing the call volume in order to improve the call quality.
If you feel that the voice quality is unacceptably poor during calls, please back up your data and take your device and proof-of-purchase to an authorised HUAWEI Customer Service Centre or contact HUAWEI Customer Services for further assistance.
