How to check if I am using mobile data or Wi-Fi to access the Internet

If you are not sure whether your phone is using mobile data or Wi-Fi to access the Internet, all you have to do is check the status bar.

When is displayed in the status bar, it means that your phone is accessing the Internet through a wireless network.

If is displayed in the lower left corner of the signal icon in the status bar, it means that your phone is using mobile data to access the Internet.
