If you find that the red shade of an icon or picture changes after you zoom in or out on it, perform the following steps:
Switch to another picture or screen
- If the issue does not persist, the problem may lie with the picture or app screen.
- If the issue persists, the screen colour saturation may be set too high. This is a normal occurrence with OLED screens and does not indicate an issue with your phone.
Adjust the colour temperature
Open Settings, search for and access Colour temperature or Colour mode & temperature, then adjust the colour temperature to reduce the colour saturation.
If this issue persists and affects your ability to use your phone normally, back up your data and take your phone and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
