Screen colours are different on two different phone models

Cause:

It is normal for screen colours to be different on two different phone models due to the different display technologies that have been adopted.

Solution:

To adjust the screen colour, open Settings, search for and access Colour temperature or Colour mode & temperature, then set a colour temperature depending on your preferences.

1. In terms of colour, Standard mode is designed to give better viewing comfort.
  • Standard: Natural colours
  • Vivid colours: Bright colours

2. In terms of colour temperature, Default and Warm are designed to give better viewing comfort. You can also touch on the round colour palette to adjust the colour temperature depending on your preferences.

  • Default: Natural colour temperature
  • Warm: Yellow cast
  • Cold: White cast

If the issue persists, back up your data and take your phone and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
