The top of the app screen is not properly displayed on phones with a notch display

Problem:

  1. The status bar is displayed on the app screen, and the notch is also displayed.
  1. The notch is hidden on the app screen, and the status bar appears black.
  1. The app screen extends to the notch area.

Solution:

When Notch is set to Default, the screen display in apps is automatically adapted and displays or hides the status bar to optimise the display area.

You can also open Settings, search for and access Notch, and select Hide notch to hide the notch.

Some third-party apps are not adapted to work with screens that have notches. Therefore, the screen cannot be extended to the notch area.
