The computer is unable to power on when I use it for the first time
  1. Before powering on your computer for the first time, plug in the charger to disable Shipping mode. Otherwise, your computer will not power on.
  2. For the MateBook X, MateBook X Pro, MateBook D, MateBook D 2018, HONOR MagicBook, MateBook 13, MateBook 14, and HONOR MagicBook 2019, press the Power button for approximately 1 second to power on your computer. Do not press and hold the Power button.

    For the MateBook E and MateBook E 2019, since the product adopts an anti-misoperations feature due to its exposed Power button, you need to press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the screen lights up to power on your computer.

  3. If the issue persists, press and hold the Power button for approximately 10 seconds, then press the Power button again to power on your computer.
  4. If the issue still cannot be resolved, bring your computer, proof of purchase, and warranty to an authorised Huawei Customer Serivice Centre for assistance.
