Huawei phones currently support all three-ring jack and most four-ring jack headsets that meet the CTIA standard (commonly known as the Apple standard). OMTP headsets with four-ring jacks are not supported by your phone.

Note:

1. Headsets with three-ring jacks do not support wire control functions, and don't have a microphone.
2. Headsets with four-ring jacks feature either only a hook button, or a volume up/down and a hook/middle button.
3. Using non-standard wired headsets may cause the following issues:
   • Sound issues: no sound, weak sound, only background sound can be heard, unable to hear voices, sound only plays normally when the hook button is pressed
   • Music playback issues: unexpected speaker playback, unexpected playback pause, automatic track changes, and automatic volume adjustment (sometimes to the maximum and minimum values)
   • Call issues: auto-answer, auto-mute, voice transmission failures, and abnormal music playback during calls
   • Camera issues: automatic photo shooting, and so on
   • Volume adjustment issues: automatic volume adjustment during calls, music playback, or video playback
