Change the date, time, or number formats

The date and time are displayed by default on the taskbar. You can change the format of this information to display the day of week, for example.

Perform the following steps to do this.

  1. Search for Control Panel on the taskbar and press Enter.

  2. Click Change date, time, or number formats in Clock and Region.

  3. Click Additional settings....

  4. Click Date and set Short date to M/d/yyyy/dddd. Click Apply and then OK.
