Unable to connect the computer to external devices via MateDock

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Check whether your external devices are working properly. To do this, use MateDock to connect them to other computers. If the issue persists, it may be due to a faulty MateDock.
  2. Disconnect the computer from the charger, shut down and power on your computer, and connect your external devices again via MateDock, to check whether the issue has been resolved.
  3. Visit the official Huawei website (http://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/index.htm) or the official Honor website (https://www.hihonor.com/en/support/), click PC, select your computer model, and download the latest version of BIOS firmware in Software Download.

    You can also open PC Manager and click Drivers to update the BIOS driver. (For some PC Manager versions, you'll need to open PC Manager, and go to Optimisation > Drivers.)

    • The user interface may vary depending on the PC Manager version.

  4. If this issue persists, back up any important data, and take your computer and docking station to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
