Unable to open the lid and wake up the computer

After closing and immediately opening its lid, the notebook does not wake up and a black screen is displayed. This can be caused by the fact that it takes a longer time for the computer to exit Sleep or Hibernation mode and to load third-party apps running in the background.

Also, some drivers may be outdated. Please bear in mind that it usually takes more than 4 seconds for a laptop to wake up after closing its lid.

To solve this, please close any third-party apps running in the background and wait for more than 4 seconds before trying to wake up the computer after closing its lid.

It is recommended that, after opening the lid, to wait until the Fn key is completely off before trying to enter the system.

Also, update the drivers on your computer to the latest version. To do this, open HUAWEI PC Manager, go to Manage drivers> Check> Update and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the update.
