Problem

The camera image in video chat software or online education software is upside down.

Cause

1. Open the Camera app that comes with the system. If the image of the Camera app is normal, this issue is related to the video chat software or online education software.
2. If the camera image is upside down, turn the computer 180 degrees. If the image does not rotate with the computer, the camera is faulty.
3. If the image rotates with the computer, the gyroscope is faulty.

Solution

1. If the image of the Camera app is normal, uninstall the video chat software or online education software, and install the software of the latest version. If necessary, contact the customer service of the third-party software.
2. If the image of the Camera app is upside down, back up your data, and take your computer, along with proof of purchase and warranty card to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
