Microsoft Edge frequently crashes |
Problem
Microsoft Edge frequently crashes and does not function properly.
Cause
This issue occasionally occurs during app reconfiguration when the user creates a Local User on the computer.
Solution
Method 1: Reset Microsoft Edge by performing the following:
- Click the Windows icon, then the Settings icon, and choose Apps.
- Click Apps & features, then Microsoft Edge, and choose Advanced options.
- Click Reset, then Reset again to confirm your option. A tick icon will then be displayed next to the Reset icon.
Method 2: Press the F10 key to restore the computer to its factory settings.
Please note that restoring the computer to its factory settings will clear all data in the C drive, including personal files downloaded in Desktop, Downloads, and Documents. Please back up your important data in the C drive. Visit the official Huawei website to find out more about this method.
Thanks for your feedback.
