Introduction to Cloud

Cloud is a data storage platform that securely stores your important data, including your images, videos, contacts, and notes, and offers data services, including simultaneous updates on multiple devices and automatic data backup.

Below you will find further information about the features available on Cloud.

Apps using the cloud

When you toggle on the switches for Gallery, Contacts, Notes, Calendar, WLAN, and AIReader, the data from these apps will be automatically uploaded to Cloud, and the data on Cloud will also be synced to your phone and the other devices on which you have toggled on these switches. When you add, modify, or delete data on your phone, the changes will be synced to Cloud.

Cloud Backup

Once enabled, the Contacts, Notes, Recordings, Messages, Call log, and Calendar apps, and app data will be automatically synced to Cloud. If you lose your phone, or get a new one, you will be able to use Cloud Backup to instantly restore your data.

Drive

Safely store your images, audio files, videos, documents, compressed files, and apps in Drive by accessing Files on your phone/tablet or through the Cloud desktop application or the Cloud official website (cloud.huawei.com).

  • When you enable Cloud, you will get 5 GB of Cloud storage for free. You can easily check how much Cloud storage you are using and manage your storage by visiting the Cloud official website (cloud.huawei.com).
  • Cloud is available on HUAWEI and HONOR devices as long as it has been pre-installed in the Account center before delivery. Cloud is not available on non-HUAWEI and non-HONOR devices.
  • If you have toggled on Sync Gallery in Apps using the cloud, the images and videos in your Gallery will be synced to Cloud, and Cloud Backup will no longer back up Gallery data.
  • The features available on Cloud may vary depending on your country and region.
