[HUAWEI] My band/watch cannot receive AI Tips push messages

HUAWEI watches/bands can receive AI Tips messages pushed from the notification panel and HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY of HUAWEI phones.

Troubleshoot as follows:

Unable to receive AI Tips messages pushed from the notification panel of HUAWEI phones

  1. Supported phone models and versions: Only HUAWEI phones running EMUI 9.1 or later support this feature.
  2. Supported message types: Only flight, hotel, train, rest, and weather message notifications are supported.

    If you receive notifications other than the preceding types from HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY in the notification panel of your phone, the notifications cannot be synced to the message centre of your watch/band, and your watch/band will not display any message notifications.

Unable to receive AI Tips messages pushed from HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY, or swiping right on the screen won't display/refresh the HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY screen

  1. Supported phone models and versions: Only HUAWEI phones running EMUI 11.1 or later support this feature.
  2. Supported message types: Only Today's notifications card is supported.
  3. Make sure that AI Tips is enabled, by going to Settings > Smart assistance > AI Tips on your watch/band. (If the AI Tips switch is unavailable, it indicates that the feature is enabled by default.)
  4. Make sure that you have updated HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY to its latest version (14.1.1.302 or later). To do so, go to HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY, touch the avatar in the upper left corner, and go to Settings > About.
  5. Make sure that you have granted Location and Nearby devices permissions for HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY (the Nearby devices permission is disabled by default for HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY 14.1.6.300 or later).
    1. Go to Settings > Apps/ > Apps, search for HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY, go to Permissions > Location, and select Allow.
    2. Go to Settings > > Apps, search for HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY, go to Permissions, and set Nearby devices to Allowed.
  6. Access HUAWEI Assistant∙TODAY, search for Travel services, touch the icon in the upper right corner then Data reminder settings, and enable service notifications for such features as Traffic and Parking.
