- Ensure that the HUAWEI FamCare app and watch are running the latest versions. If not, update them.
- To prevent signal interference, don't shake your watch to add a friend when there are too many watches nearby being shaken. (Place the two watches close to each other when shaking.) If the feature fails, try again a few more times.
- Press and hold the Power button to restart the watch and try again.
- Friends added using Add friends will be automatically synced to Contacts in the HUAWEI FamCare app. When the maximum number of contacts is reached, no more friends can be added by shaking the watch.
- Shaking to add friends is only available on Huawei kids watches.
- If you are using a HUAWEI WATCH KIDS 4 Pro, you can add a maximum of 200 contacts on the watch.
