[HUAWEI] Weight is inaccurate |
Inaccurate weight measurements may be caused by the way the body fat scale is placed, used, or stored. If this issue occurs, perform the following steps:
Pay attention to the following when you perform a measurement
- Before measuring your weight, make sure that your scale is placed horizontally on a hard and flat surface. Place the scale horizontally, avoid placing it on soft wooden floors, carpets, or gaps between bricks, and avoid bringing it into contact with the wall or other objects. Wait for the scale screen to show a steady "0.0 kg" and turn off, and then step onto the scale.
- Before weighing, if the scale screen already displays a weight, it means that it may have been moved. Wait for the scale screen to turn off before weighing.
- When being weighed, gently step on the middle of the scale plane and stand upright.
- After you're done, it is recommended that you continue to place the scale horizontally. Avoid placing it vertically or hanging it.
- After weighing a small object, it is recommended that you remove the small object immediately to avoid affecting the accuracy of the next measurement (only for the HUAWEI Scale 3 Bluetooth® Edition).
For accurate comparisons, it is recommended that you weigh yourself at the same time of day (for example, before having breakfast or going to bed) each time. Remember to wear light clothing when weighing yourself.
- ±0.05 kg if the weight is between 0 kg and 5 kg.
- ±0.2 kg if the weight is between 5 kg and 50 kg.
- ±0.3 kg if the weight is between 50 kg and 100 kg.
- ±0.4 kg if the weight is between 100 kg and 150 kg.
Remove and reinsert the batteries
Before doing this, sync your measurement data to the Huawei Health app to avoid losing the data.
You can swipe down on the home screen of the Huawei Health app to update and sync data, or connect your scale to the Huawei Health app to have the data synced automatically.
