- This specification is designed to prevent the segment data from being mixed up with some abnormal swimming data, which would affect the data viewing and analysis.
When you are swimming in a pool, your wearable device will identify when you have a rest, play with water, do non-standard turns, swim slowly, and have short pauses before or after each swimming segment, and it will delete the data generated during these moments from the segment data. As a result, the total time of each segment may be different from the total swimming time.
After you enable Pool swim, there may be a large data difference when the wearable device identifies many non-swimming moments or non-standard turns.
