Disabling Cloud notifications

Disabling pop-up prompts

When a backup fails, a pop-up prompt is displayed to tell you about the failure. To disable these pop-up prompts, go to Settings > Log in to HUAWEI ID > Cloud > Cloud Backup and disable Cloud Backup. However, we recommend that you enable Cloud Backup. With this feature, you can select the app data for backup by going to Cloud Backup > Backup options.

The pop-up prompts help you make sure that your data is backed up properly, for example by notifying you if the backup failed due to insufficient cloud space. Making sure that your data is backed up is important as it minimizes the risk of running into an issue when using backups to restore your data, for example when you get a new device.
