How do I change or reset the password for the Access restrictions feature in HUAWEIAppGallery?
  1. If you have selected your child to be the person who will be using the device in Digital balance:

    Change password: Go to Settings > Digital balance > Security settings > Change PIN > Forgot your PIN? and use your security question or the associated HUAWEI ID to change the password.

    Disable password verification: Go to Settings > Digital balance > Disable Digital Balance (you will be asked to enter the 6-digit PIN you have set). 1

  2. If your device does not support Digital balance or you have selected yourself to be the person who will be using the device:

    Change password: Not supported. Use the following method to disable the Access restrictions feature and enable it again.

    Disable password verification: Search for and access HUAWEIAppGallery in Settings, clear its data, then enable the Access restrictions feature and set the password again. To do so, go to:

    Settings > Apps/Apps & notifications > Apps > AppGallery > Storage > Clear cache/Clear data

Deleting the data of HUAWEIAppGallery will not affect other data on your phone and will only restore HUAWEIAppGallery to the status immediately after being installed for the first time.
