Will the HUAWEI Vision enter standby mode or power on when a connected device enters standby mode or powers on (HDMI CEC function)?

Yes, the Vision supports the HDMI CEC function in the following situations:

  • When an external device (such as an STB) is powered on, the Vision screen will automatically turn on.
  • When the Vision is powered off, the external device (such as the STB) will power off at the same time.
 
  1. The preceding functions depend on whether the external device supports HDMI CEC. To check whether the external device supports HDMI CEC, see the product manual or contact the provider.
  2. Ensure that CEC is enabled for the Vision and external devices:
    1. HUAWEI Vision: Go to Settings > General > Advanced > CEC.
    2. External devices: Refer to the product manual or contact the provider.
