Automatic factory settings restoration
When the monitor is powered on, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to restore the monitor to its factory settings.
The wireless desktop of an HSN-CBA model and the OSD menu will also be restored.
Manual factory settings restoration
You can also perform the following operations to restore the OSD menu and wireless desktop respectively to their factory settings.
Restoring the OSD menu of the monitor to its factory settings
Restoring the wireless desktop of the monitor to its factory settings (only for HSN-CBA models)
- Restoring the OSD menu of the monitor to its factory settings
- When the monitor is powered on, connect the monitor to an external device in wired or wireless projection mode. When the monitor displays the screen of the external device, tap the HUAWEI Smart Bar with one finger to open the OSD menu.
- Follow the onscreen instructions for the HUAWEI Smart Bar, go to Settings > Factory reset, and select OK.
This operation will restore the monitor's volume, brightness, and other settings to their factory settings.
- Restoring the wireless desktop of the monitor to its factory settings (only for HSN-CBA models)
- If your monitor displays the wireless desktop after it is powered on, connect the monitor to a wireless network and go to Settings > System & updates.
If your monitor does not display the wireless desktop after it is powered on, slide along the HUAWEI Smart Bar with two fingers to switch Input source to Wireless.
- Select Factory reset and follow the onscreen instructions. The system will automatically restore the wireless desktop to its factory settings.
- If your monitor displays the wireless desktop after it is powered on, connect the monitor to a wireless network and go to Settings > System & updates.
