The display has a colour cast

Problem

After the monitor is powered on, the display has a yellow cast, blue cast, and the image is distorted.

Cause

  1. The cable is in poor contact.
  2. The host's source input is unstable.

Solution

Check whether the cable is a standard Huawei cable.

Remove the cable and insert it again. If the issue persists, try another cable.

Check whether the source input is stable. Try another host to check whether the display is normal.

Set Colour temperature and Low blue light in the OSD menu to adjust the display colour.

Go to Settings > Colour > Low blue light. If the switch is turned on, the overall screen will look warm and yellowish. The Low blue light mode removes some of the blue light that is harmful to vision and adjusts the display colour for it to be warm and yellowish. If you turn off the switch for Low blue light, the display colour will go back to normal.

Go to Settings > Colour > Colour temperature. If Colour temperature is set to Standard, normal colours will be displayed. If it is set to Cool, there will be a blue cast. If it is set to Warm, there will be a yellow cast. If it is set to Custom, the red, green, and blue colours can be manually set, with each value ranging from 0 to 100.
