[HUAWEI] Unable to sync Calendar events from my phone to the watch
 
  • This feature is only supported on HUAWEI phones running EMUI 10.0 or later. In addition, you can only sync Calendar events of the current day and the next six days from your phone to the watch.
  • When the CPU temperature of your phone is too high, Calendar event syncing will be halted, and will automatically resume when the temperature returns to normal.

If your phone meets the preceding conditions but the events that have been added, deleted, or modified fail to sync to the watch Calendar, perform the following steps:

Make sure that your watch is connected via Bluetooth

  • Make sure that your watch is connected to your phone via Bluetooth. If the issue persists, restart your watch and phone and try again.
  • If the issue persists, re-connect your watch to your phone, and make sure that the Huawei Health app is running in the background.

Ensure that data syncing is enabled

If your phone is a HUAWEI phone running EMUI 12.0 or later, open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices, touch your device name, go to Device settings > App management > Calendar, and enable Sync Calendar to watch.

Make sure that HUAWEI Calendar and Calendar Storage are updated to their latest versions

  • Open AppGallery on your phone, and search for Calendar. If Update displays, update Calendar to its latest version.
  • If your watch can only sync new events but is unable to sync modified or deleted events, update Calendar Storage on your phone to a version later than 12.1.3.320.

To view the Calendar Storage version on your phone, open Settings, search for and open App manager, touch the four-dot icon in the upper right corner, touch Show system processes, search for "Calendar", and find Calendar Storage. Calendar Storage can only be updated with a phone system update.

If the issue persists

  • If the issue remains unresolved, collect the relevant information and escalate the issue to the Huawei Health app technical support team.
