Setting the resolution for printed, copied, and scanned files

After connecting a device, such as a phone or computer, to the printer, you can adjust the copying/scanning quality to your preferred resolution.

The printer does not support setting the printing resolution. The document will be printed based on the original resolution.

The copying/scanning quality options correspond to different copying/scanning resolutions as follows:

  • High: 1200 dpi. It is recommended that you select this option when the file to be copied/scanned contains a large amount of content. The generated file is large and takes a long time to process. Please wait patiently.
  • Standard: 600 dpi. The quality of the copied/scanned files is good. This option is selected by default.
  • Low: 300 dpi. Only the scan Quality on the computer can be set to low. You are only advised to select this option when the file to be copied/scanned contains a small amount of content.

For example:

On your phone: Open the HUAWEI AI Life app, go to the printer homepage, select Scan, and select a resolution as required in Quality, then touch SCAN.

On your computer: Open the printer homepage in HUAWEI PC Manager, or open the Huawei Print client, then select Scan, and select a resolution as required in Quality, then touch SCAN.
