Sync pairing settings of HUAWEI FreeBuds/FreeLace series earphones to devices logged in to the same HUAWEI ID

For devices logged in to the same HUAWEI ID, when any of the devices is paired with HUAWEI wireless earphones, the rest of the devices can pair with the earphones automatically. You only need to touch the Bluetooth name of the earphones to connect with the earphones, without having to press the Pairing button on the earphones.

This feature is supported on the following devices:
  • Phones/Tablets running EMUI 10.0/HarmonyOS 2.0 or later, WATCH GT 2/WATCH 3 or later watches, and HUAWEI Visions (not supported by the SE series)
  • This feature is not available when your phone/tablet is in Guest mode or when you have logged in to another account using the Multi-user mode.

How to use

  1. Enable HUAWEI HiAI or HUAWEI Assistant Improvement Program.
    • Phones/Tablets running HarmonyOS 2.0: Enable HUAWEI HiAI by going to Settings > System & updates > HUAWEI HiAI.
  2. Ensure that the devices have a good Internet connection (4G/Wi-Fi), and have logged in to the same HUAWEI ID.
  3. Pair and connect your wireless earphones with the first device for the first time.
  4. Wait for around 10 seconds for your wireless earphones to display in the list of paired devices on the second device.
  5. On the second device, touch the Bluetooth name of the earphones in the PAIRED DEVICES list to connect to the earphones.

You can delete the pairing record on your phone/tablet by going to Settings > Bluetooth > PAIRED DEVICES, touching the earphone settings icon, and touching UNPAIR.

  • When a HarmonyOS 2.0 device receives the deletion command, it deletes all pairing records of devices logged in to the same HUAWEI ID.
